1

Who We Are

Meetday ("Meetday," "we," "our," or "us") is a host-first IRL social network that connects experience creators (Hosts) with people seeking curated real-world experiences (Attendees). We operate at themeetday.com and through our web app & mobile app (to be released).

Meetday is operated by Meetday Global, a company registered in India. For the purposes of data protection law, Meetday is the data controller of your personal information.

Legal Basis for Processing

Where applicable under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act) 2023 and other applicable regulations, we process your data on the following bases:

  • Consent — for optional data, marketing communications, and social profile connections
  • Contract — to fulfil our obligations to you as a user, Host, Attendee, or Vendor
  • Legitimate interests — for fraud prevention, platform security, and improving our services
  • Legal obligation — for GST compliance, tax reporting, and responding to lawful authority requests
5

Privacy-Preserving Audience Tools for Hosts

One of Meetday's core design principles is that Hosts can understand and reach their attendees — but never see personal contact details.

How it works:

  • When you attend a Host's experience, Meetday creates a host-scoped pseudonym for you — a unique token specific to that Host relationship (e.g., MD-HOST-4821)
  • The Host tracks your behaviour over time without ever seeing your name, phone number, or email
  • No Host can correlate your identity across different Host relationships
  • When a Host sends you a communication, Meetday delivers it to you directly — the Host never receives your contact details

Your consent controls:

  • Open — any Host whose experience you attended can send you updates and invites
  • Community Only — only Hosts whose community you have formally joined
  • Selective — you approve each Host individually before they can contact you
  • Private — no Host outreach at all

You can change these settings at any time from your account preferences.

6

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We do not allow advertisers to pay to target you through Meetday.

With Hosts (limited, pseudonymous):

Hosts receive audience intelligence using pseudonymous identifiers, not your personal contact details (see Section 5).

With Vendors (limited, operational):

When you interact with a Vendor through the Marketplace, the Vendor receives information necessary to fulfil the service booking.

With service providers:

  • Razorpay — payment processing, payouts, and KYC verification
  • AWS — cloud hosting
  • Firebase — communications

All service providers are contractually bound to process your data only on our instructions.

For legal reasons:

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or lawful government request.

In a business transfer:

If Meetday is acquired, merged, or restructured, your data may be transferred to the successor entity. We will notify you in advance.
